first chapter of a series of flashbacks: darkness within

I wanted to gift the opportunity to dive into my very first book by offering the first chapter for free. This isn’t a lighthearted story, though I make jokes throughout, it’s a tough experience of darkness experienced by myself and my late husband. It’s the good and the bad times of my late marriage. 

But it also brings with it a glimmer of hope, a forgiveness many could gain a better understanding of, and light at the end of the tunnel. It’s a perfect example of duality.
