Welcome to the show notes of episode 5 for the From Grief to Gold podcast. I share about escaping dream world and getting back to reality, an issue common with dissociation. A lot of my struggles with going into dream mode was an aftermath of working through one of the most traumatic experiences. Working on my book took so much out of me, but a huge piece of working through it is finding ways to come back to the present.

I share about the compromises I had to do and ways I’m working on staying in reality. Some of that is coming back to narrowing down my focus as an entrepreneur so I can get back to bringing in money and providing for my son. Dissociation can destroy your life in so many ways. If you feel you’re struggling with this, I would heavily recommend speaking with a health care professional to see what your best options are for working through it or with it.
